1989 v6 headers

I HAVE A 89 V6 WITH THE AUTOMATIC THAT I RACE AND IVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR A HEADER DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYWHERE TO FIND ONE?

the 1989 ford probe did not come with the 3.0l vulcan as an option in any trim package of the probe that was offered. the 3.0 was not offered in the probe until the 1990 model in the probe lx. with that being said im figuring that you ether have a 90 model or have done a decent swat into an 89 probe.

so on to the question of 3.0 vulcan headers. nobody currently makes them for the vulcan motor. so the only options that you have wold be to fab up a custom set yourself or keep an eye on this thread over at performance probe that has to do with this very question. they have a guy that is currently working on building them if there would be enough intrest. but mind you they wont come cheep. anyway heres the link to the thread. it started in nov 08 and from what i gathered a set of headers has not been made.

now on to the question of why dont you just swap in a 5 speed and gain alot more performance than headers would give you? plus depending on the type of racing there is always other power adders that you can go with. turbo, supercharger, nitrous, and top any of those off with a megasquirt engine management system. then you have full tuning power over the items that you add to the car.
